From 'The Exercise Disco' and 'Personal Training' to 'My Keep Moving Buddy' and 'Emotional Freedom Technique-think slim'. There is something to help you!

First of all we do 'DISOCISE-THE EXERCISE DISCO'!!!! Disco dancing your own way, through the decades including 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. 

 

I also offer one 2 one 'PERSONAL TRAINING' to help you with your health and fitness goals. By early 2025 I will be able to work with medical conditions such as arthritis and diabetes. I work from Olympic Sports Gym in Ashton-Under-Lyne. Whether your goal is to reduce reliance on medication,  reduce weight impact on your joints, need guidance on eating for better health or to just feel better in your own body... I can help. Very soon I will be launching 'MY KEEP MOVING BUDDY'. Book yourself or your loved one for a home visit where we can do some seated exercise together and you can enjoy some company... great if you can't get out easily and want to keep your limbs moving to maintain your independence.

Launching soon is also 'DISCOCISE-THE GOLDEN YEARS'. I am bringing the Discocise experience to care homes in my local towns. Seniors love music and I can bring the fun in a 30 minute session of age appropriate music. Residents are encouraged to move a little bit, or just sing if that is more manageable. A physical and mental boost for our car home residents.​​

In 2025 I will be launching 'EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT) - THINK SLIM'. EFT is a healing modality that works on your subconscious like hypnotherapy, gets issues out into the open like CBT (talking therapy) and retunes energy points like acupuncture (we tap instead of using needles). It is a simple tapping process that helps your automatic habits become more in tune with your conscious desires. EFT can be applied to a variety of issues and I am currently compiling my case study portfolio. If you would like to try a free session for this purpose then do get in touch.

  1. DISCOCISE-THE EXERCISE DISCO - A boogie in your trainers! After a brief warm up (copying me) the banging tunes from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s come on. Get ready to be uplifted. There is no complicated choreography to follow, we dance our own way, like you would at a DISCO (some call it freestyle). The benefits of this session are: a great step count, a good calorie burn, improved stamina, no difficult choreography to follow, a treat for music lovers, very sociable and fun so great for mood enhancement and mental well-being, a supportive/encouraging environment and suits all shapes and sizes.   2. PERSONAL TRAINING - Fitness really can be easy when you are given the right instructions. I aim to teach you your way around the gym so that after a while you are equipped with the knowledge to carry on your journey independently. 

  3. MY 'KEEP MOVING' BUDDY - When you are poorly, socially isolated or in your 'golden years' getting out to walk, exercise or socialise can be difficult. I know how difficult it is to keep your body moving when you are house-bound. I will soon be offering a service where I bring chair based exercise to your home, along with some chat and company. I will guide you through 15 to 20 minutes of low intensity chair based exercise before having a conversation over a brew. 

  4. DISCOCISE-THE GOLDEN YEARS - Since Discocise has been so successful in our community, it is time to bring the fun and joy to our local senior population. 'DISCOCISE-THE GOLDEN YEARS' is a very cost effective way of enhancing the life of your care home residents with a little exercise (a little bit of dancing where they are able), singing and socialising. The 30 minute music session will be age appropriate, familiar and uplifting. 

  5. COMING IN 2025... EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE - THINK SLIM - Have you heard of EFT? It is a very gentle, yet powerful tool that can help to reset your relationship with food, diets, exercise and other emotional blockages that have historically shown up to make losing weight harder than it needs to be. I will be doing one to one sessions where you are taught to tap critical energy accupressure spots, lying on the body's energy meridians, to help you transform your approach to eating heathily and moving your body with enjoyment. This will be specifically aimed at those who want to lose weight in a healthy way. Before you think of weightloss drugs or surgery arm yourself with 'Tap Yourself Slim' sessions and reset your bad habits, emotional eating and learn to love moving your body/exercising instead. PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT TO JOIN IN WITH SOME OF OUR PHYSICAL SESSIONS YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE A PAR-Q (PHYSICAL ACTIVITY READINESS QUESTIONNAIRE) FORM WHICH SCREENS FOR ANY ISSUES THAT MIGHT NEED ADDRESSING BY A MEDICAL PRACTITIONER PRIOR TO COMMENCING EXERCISE. THIS CAN BE DONE AT THE FIRST SESSION OR PRINTED AND COMPLETED BEFOREHAND. YOU WILL ONLY NEED TO DO THIS ONCE A YEAR BUT I ALSO ASK FOR ANY UPDATES IF YOUR HEALTH STATUS CHANGES AT THE TIME OF EXERCISE.
